versatile PTX40 is a
plow/trencher with a dedicated
plow depth of up to
24" (61 cm), a trench depth of
up to 42" (106.7 cm)
and a width of 4 – 6"
(10.2–15.2 cm). The optional
bore attachment has a
maximum torque of
494 ft-lb (670 Nm).
ARTICULATED DESIGN. An articulated design
offers enhanced maneuverability
in tight spaces and
exceptional performance when
operating on uneven
terrain, maximizing
tractive effort.
REMOTE CONTROL. When plowing or in transport
mode, remote control
operation offers fl exibility
in congested areas, providing
the operator both
fi ngertip control and smooth machine
handling. The
remote control functionality provides
adjustability for
the operator to maintain visibility to
the work area
and machine operation from a variety
of viewpoints.
When trenching, the operator controls
utilize a tether
that connects the machine and
remote control.
SERVICEABILITY. Access to required service
points, as well as fuel,
hydraulic oil, engine oil and
air fi lters, does not require
removal of any shielding,
which can increase effi ciency
of machine service
and simplify daily maintenance.
TRACTION OPTIONS. With a variety of different
traction options, the PTX40 is
well-suited to
contractors’ differing needs. The 23"
(58.4 cm) tire
option is best for narrow, congested
jobsites, the
26" (66 cm) tire option provides better
traction,
and the dual tire option accommodates lower
ground pressure requirements. Additionally, the
PTX40
is available with tracks that are ideal for
uneven terrain.
COMPACT SIZE. At 40.2" (102.1 cm) wide and
only 55" (139.7 cm)
high, the PTX40 is small enough
to navigate smaller
jobsites where larger machines
can’t fi t.
